The images that we create of your dog are meant to be hung on walls where you can see them regularly. Whether you're celebrating a moment in time, commemorating a dog that has passed, or simply want a constant reminder of your dog's positive energy, it's important to bring your dog's image front and center. That's why I don't sell digital images on a standalone basis - I want to see your art displayed!
State of the art acrylics
Lately I have fallen head over heels in love with acrylics for dog portraiture, to the extent that's (almost) all I offer. They are expensive, and take over a month to produce - I use a best-in-class lab that's actually in Germany - but I think they're worth every penny. These acrylics are gallery-quality and designed to stay sharp, clear, and bright for at least 75 years.
Acrylics best suit my photographic style, which also tends to be sharp and bright and, well, large. They just scream 'modern', which I think is well suited to the culture of our San Francisco Bay area as well.
Not sure what the heck I'm talking about? These prints are archival-quality photo paper mounted under 1/16" (or 1/8", depending on size) acrylic glass, providing luminous color and an amazing quality of depth. When we meet for our ordering session I will bring samples and then I'm sure you'll agree that they will make a wonderful addition to your walls.
I'll present you with a detailed price list during our ordering session. Prices range from $228 for an 8x12, to $2400 for a 36x54 print (that will be the talk of your neighborhood as well as your living room!)
(Note that pricing does not include the session fee; see here for session options).
Acrylic "minis" are just that: small 5" x 7" acrylics that let you plaster your dog's adorable face all over your home, office, kitchen, hallway, or wherever. They are developed on first-class photo paper, silicone-sealed under 2mm-thick acrylic glass, and backed with stable and opaque aluminum.
The acrylic minis arrive with a stand, hanging hook, and magnetic back so you can easily display them wherever you like. (Hint: they make awesome gifts for co-family members, too!)
Minis are $70 each or a pack of 4 for $200.
As you've gathered by now, my mission is to provide you with wonderful images that will grace your walls. My hope and expectation is that you'll want to hang your favorite 2 or 3 images and add some 'minis' to display in small spaces.
But what about all of the other images in your gallery? Maybe there's an image that's more of a documentary style, or it shows a goofy side of your dog that is fun and playful but not necessarily wall-worthy. With a location shoot, you can expect to receive 15 - 20 images (maybe more). What will you do with them?
For me the logical choice is an album. That way, you can keep it in your living area to glance at from time to time, and have a wonderful keepsake of that moment in time in your dog's life.
When we're reviewing your gallery during your ordering session, I'll let you know the pricing for a custom album. Prices range from $400 - $550 for an 8x12, faux-leather cover, 10 spread album.
Other types of prints
Sometimes an image just calls out to be a fine art print, or a regular mounted print suitable for framing the traditional way. If that's the case, I'll make that recommendation and provide you with a custom quote at the time of our ordering session.
If there's a product that you're just dying to have printed - let me know!
Note: all prices on this page are subject to change at any time without notice, do not include California sales tax or shipping charges, and do not include the session fee. See here for more info on session fees.
