Three steps to great dog portraits on your wall:
1. Pre-shoot Consult
To get things started, we'll meet in person for about 30 minutes so that I can meet your dog and we can get to know each other. I'll want to learn about your dog's personality and preferences. We'll plan when and where to have your session, discuss logistics, and sign the contract. (Your session fee is due at this time.)
2. The shoot!
This is the fun part. We'll meet at a predesignated spot and spend 60 - 90 minutes photographing your dog. We will let your dog determine the pace and style of the shoot, although I will provide specific direction as well. I often use both natural light and added light (flash), and I may bring an assistant or two with me to help with leash handling and transporting gear. (See more about how to prepare for the shoot here.)
3. Ordering session and art delivery
About 2 - 3 weeks after our session with your dog, we'll meet back at your place for the 'big reveal' - I'll show you your gallery of professionally edited images, and together we'll decide which images to print to hang on your walls. I can provide assistance with art sizing and placement as well (I'll bring samples and a measuring tape). After our meeting, I will provide you with any digital files of the images that you have purchased. Payment is expected at the time of order. (See here for more information on products.)
And then about 4 weeks after that (acrylics take about a month to print) - you will receive your final wall art.
The final step? You relax and enjoy scrumptious images of your dog hanging on your walls!
